The NEWCOMERS project has successfully arrived halfway through its lifetime and the consortium partners will virtually meet on an informal mid-term meeting in the beautiful eLund, Sweden, on 18 and 19 November.
Besides the internal evaluation among consortium partners, there will be a session today with the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) members. They will give feedback on the project's results for the first 18 months.
In the afternoon, the Project Officer will join the presentation of the Our Energy platform which is one of the key communications and dissemination deliverables of the NEWCOMERS project: an online platform for education, awareness-raising and networking about new clean energy communities and energy transitions, to be launched at the end of November.
Tomorrow, the NEWCOMERS team will continue discussions on key topics, relevant for the NEWCOMERS research: the polycentric governance theory, stakeholder engagement, innovation management, and regulatory and policy measures to create an enabling environment for the new clean energy communities.
